This hotel is located in a rather small town in Oklahoma along a midsize freeway between Oklahoma and Arkansas, but it is first class in every way. Conveniently located just off the highway, it is easy to get to, which is always a plus when you are travelling. We had a large group stay there for an area event that we held and used it as our headquarters. The manager and his staff were more that friendly and went out of their way to make sure we taken care of. Accommodations were great, comfortable and very clean. I would recommend this hotel for any occasion, whether you are just passing through or staying in the area for a few days.
My wife and I checked in around 8pm and went to bed right away. We woke up to a bed infested with BED BUGS. My wife had over 10 bites all over her body. We were able to catch 2 and showed the manager and she called the owner. He did refund our money. I highly advise anyone reading this to keep driving past this place.
The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The complementary breakfast consisted of waffles, bagels, toast, pastries, fruit, yogurt, etc and was plentiful and delicious. I was especially pleased with the fresh watermelon. The hotel was in the process of remodeling so there a few things left to be finished, but for the most part it was a very enjoyable stay.
We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. We choose to stay at this location instead of Tahlaquah where our son was attending a basketball camp. We will stay here again when we come back to the area. The town had plenty of places to eat and was not far from where we needed to go. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. Breakfast was what you expect from a continental breakfast. My husband and kids enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub.
Great place to stay in Locust Grove. Always helpful and courteous staff, nice and clean rooms, good rates, and easy highway/turnpike access since it is located right off the exit.
